The Hemo Buddies page has been developed to enhance communication between those affected by hemophilia including parents, caregivers and children. We have decided to make some major changes in our Hemo Buddies program by dropping the old chat room and adopting AOL's AIM chat program. You do not have to be an AOL user to use AIM and this program is as usable on Mac as it is on PC. AIM is free and is simple to understand. You can build your own buddy list or you can have moderated chat sessions. You will need to be invited to join the first session so that you can get everyone's screen name. After that, you can contact your "buddies" anytime they are online! Okay? Then click here to download AIM! |

And that means everyone must take suitable precautions when developing chat-based relationships. Never give out your actual telephone number or home address unless you do so at an authorized function of the Kentucky Hemophilia Foundation, where you might have an opportunity to meet your chat friends in person. |
